Joey`s Kitchen in Maui

Pretty damn good for mall food court food. Way better than “Poi by the pound”. I had the loco moco, delicious! Wife had a pork and cabbage dish, also delicious! I’d definitely eat here again!

The Garlic Chicken dish is disgusting. It does not indicate on the menu that it’s fried and smothered in sauce. Get something else.

Good place for a quick bite

Average food, but pretty good for a food court. This is located in the food court of whalers village. We came one night for some dinner and got the kalbi ribs (17) and pork adobo fried rice (8). I think the fried rice was really great for it's price and the kalbi was decent too a bit too oily. The meat came with kimchi, did not like it, and macaroni salad which was way too oily.

An authetic taste of Hawaii conveniently located inside the food court of the Whaler’s Village.

If your out of other Options than go overpriced

Best fish & chips I've had in years. 4 huge lightly battered pieces of FRESH fish cooked in BUTTER, not oil. Sooooooo yummy! The cole slaw was amazing as well, in a vinagrette. Just great. Couldn't eat it all and very reasonable price. I'll be back!

Very nice. Great food and a decent amount for the price. Best option in area. Garlic chicken and pork plate were tasty.

Excellent adobo fried rice. Generous helping. Garlic fried rice mixed with Filipino pork adobo is a must try. It's enough for 2 people to share, no need for any other menial item. So delicious! We also had the loco moco. It was only average for me.

Extremely long wait (40 mins) from order time to pickup of pretty simple coconut shrimp. Avoid this place.

Excellent food. We shared poke and red curried rice noodles with vegetables. The ahi in the poke was really fresh and tasty. The service was fast and welcoming. I'd certainly go there again. Yum!

Joey's was delicious and and good value. The garlic pork was exceptional. I when back for lunch the next day and got the teriyaki beef. It was also very tasty.

Great seafood prepared by s former Roy's chef. In Whalers Village so prices are very reasonable.

Solid food in a casual, laid back atmosphere. The garlic chicken plate was ono but the ahi potstickers were a miss. All for less than 20 bucks is a hard find in this part of Lahaina. Come here if you want to eat something after you go swimming and don’t want to eat overpriced hotel food.

Had the chicken and the coconut shrimp. Both were good. The prices were reasonable and they validate parking if you spend more than 20 dollars. The location is in the food court cloae to the Subway. It's super casual, so it's a great place to stop by while at the beach or after your beach session.

Very mediocre, not sure why it received such high reviews. Lack of flavor and the meat was really dry. I feel sick after eating here.

I tried the breakfast burrito which was very good.

Got the local favorite Loco Moco. It was cooked good and had a nice presentation for a food court. Also bought the breakfast sandwich, which was excellent. Clean indoor dining area, outside dining area has great foot traffic to watch as you eat. Flavor is a little on the bland side. Staff are friendly and quick at getting your order.

The 2 plates I order has a very interesting fuse taste. One interesting me is a cream mixed of many cultures and coconut milk taste. It is an amazing food court food. It should be served as a better place and declared better.

Food was absolutely delicious..will be going back for more on our trip..I had the Loco Moco for breakfast and it was so good. My husband had the French toast ..mouth watering. PORK ADOBO FRIED RICE WAS AMAZING

In a place where everything is ridiculously priced, Joey's kitchen is a great place to get food for us normal folk.

$14 Loco Moco was great...and a nice break from $80 burger meals at the hotel. The counter person was very friendly and helpful.

My wife and I, were there for breakfast. The cashier initially ignored me, as she laughed and joked with a co-worker. I spoke twice before she greeted and took our order. The food (breakfast sandwiches) were great. Prices were good, dining room chairs/booths were dirty looking and torn. Having managed major hotel brands, good food can only go so far. Cleanliness and good service are the key. Good luck, and your responses to customers reviews show that you don't really care...

Had high hopes for this place based on the reviews, but you’re better off paying a bit more for tastier food.

Really good tasting Filipino and local food. Reasonably priced for good value. Good selection too. Pork Adobo Fried Rice is delicious. 👍🏼☺️

I can't believe this is in a mall food court. The braised beef short ribs was absolutely delicious. Amazing braised short ribs like Joey's Kitchen isn't typically found in mall food courts but I'd actually expect to find in Michelin 5 star restaurants. It's THAT good!

A bit over priced for what you get, I had the Loco-Moco, a big pile of rice, with an under cooked burger and 2 eggs, topped with canned gravy. Ordered toast on the side it was cold and no butter. With 2 drinks and spam on the for $22. Would not go here again.

Food is amazing. Lots of locals come here. Menu has a lot of variety. Cashier is very friendly. They also give parking validation for an hour.

I was just there to get some dinner. I was very much looking forward to this being Filipino American and that it was so close to my hotel. But I was severely disappointed. Poor quality food. Plus, there was hair in my food. It was just gross. The lady ask if I wanted it replaced. I said no and just Left. I don't want my money back and I don't care to go back. Why would I want to eat more when it was so poorly prepared?? I am so disgusted. Everytime I think about it, it makes me nauseous.

It was good. My family liked it. We had the Pancit w/Miki noodles and kalua pig w/cabbage 😋. Love supporting local businesses. Recommended.

Ate lunch here on a Wednesday and writing this review in regret. The garlic chicken looked and tasted awful. Clear case of bad deep frying. The Mahi-Mahi sandwich was flavorless. The Tofu stir fry sauce was sickeningly sweet. Prices are not cheap but quality of preparation is. Bad service in not offering condiments and hiding away ketchup! You have to ask for it even though french fries are on your plate. Doesn't make any sense.Safe to say, we won't be going back ever!

Great food and atmosphere

Not fast for a food court but not bad time-wise if it were a sit down restaurant. Made fresh to order. No problem with my special order. The food court is air conditioned which was nice considering the weather. My chicken and companion’s fish sandwich were both tasty.

Delicious fast food joint with large portions. One of the few places to get a plate lunch in Kaanapali.

This place never dissapoints. If you don't want the hassle of waiting at the other restaurants above, check out this place you won't regret it.

LOVE Joey's Kitchen. Perfect spot for breakfast burritos to go. Pick up a local burrito, walk a few steps to Kaanapali beach, and enjoy a perfect morning!

Quick friendly service, got my proper loco Moco fix, kids enjoyed pancakes. Picky kid got subway nearby. 10/10
